Our wall maps come laminated, which protects the surface
and makes them durable, mark-able and erasable. Erasable laminate, heat melt 3
mil 2 sides with gloss finish.
Matte or Satin finish available special order.
If you would like, your maps can
be...Mounted to foam core board and custom framed
Dry-mounting bonds the map onto
3/16" foam board, a rigid but lightweight
material that allows for use of flag pins & map
tacks. If the map is to be frequently moved or is not to be
framed, "gatorboard" is suggested for less
warp. Gatorboard is approximately 60% additional cost over foam core
type board, based on size / square footage. Maps can also be
dry mounted onto a magnetically receptive material with a
ferrous embedded layer to accept magnets, for teams frequently servicing new
projects.
Custom Framed in standard wood or
metal moldings. Many fine
woods, metallic colors and flat painted finishes in aluminum, wide or heavier moldings are
available at very competitive prices.

Standard is 1- 1.5" wide for wood frame molding - larger maps may require 2" or wide. Due to their size,
and necessary usability, we laminate framed maps rather than matting
them under heavy glass.

framed wall maps have to be crated to ship flat and are oversize shipments. The largest sized maps may have to be shipped by motor freight.
